Welcome to Lauristina Guest House. We’re delighted to host you in beautiful Hepburn Springs — a village known for its mineral springs, European spa heritage and peaceful forest surrounds. The house has its roots in the early days of the township, when Hepburn Springs first became a retreat for rest, wellness and country hospitality.

We hope your stay is relaxing, comfortable and memorable.

Guest House Cleanliness

To help us maintain a high standard for all guests, please:

• Wash, dry and put away all dishes

• Wipe down surfaces used for eating (including placemats and coasters)

• Return any moved furniture to its original position

• Remove all food from the fridge before checkout

• Place all rubbish in the external bins

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

A minimum $450 fee applies for smoking inside due to cleaning and lost income.

Additional Cleaning & Late Checkout

Excessive mess may incur an additional cleaning fee of $60 per hour, based on a professional cleaner’s quote.

Late checkout is charged at $60 per hour or part thereof.

Noise & Outdoor Areas

Please keep noise to a minimum during quiet times of 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.

Access

Check in is from 3.00 p.m. onwards.

Entry is via a key safe. You’ll be provided the security code prior to check in once we have received your identification. Identification is required to be provided prior to check in.

The key safe is a small, locked box, located on the external wall in the alcove to the left of the front door (near the wine barrel).

Please ensure you have your personalised check in code numbers sequential from left to right (E.G. 0-0-0-0) and then press on the small lever and the key safe will open.

We only provide 1 key per booking.

Please ensure you keep the key in a safe place during your stay and place it back in the key safe on check out buy 11.00 a.m.

We provide complimentary Netflix on the main TV.

Fireplace

We provide a welcome firewood pack for the open fireplace in winter only.

If purchasing your own wood, please make sure it is completely dry prior to use.

Important: you must keep the kitchen door open to ensure airflow.

Never leave the fire unattended.

Do not place hot ash in the plastic bins.

Children are not to play with or go near the fire.

Fireplace instructions prior to check-out:

Ensure the fire is safely extinguished and flute is closed.

Please clean the hearth and fireplace and place any remaining ash in the silver metal bucket provided.

The silver bucket is then to be moved next to the deck at the side entrance of the house if debris is hot.

Do not leave the hot bucket on the deck.

To Keep You Cosy

All beds are provided with electric blankets.

Ducted heating is provided in the front two bedrooms and living areas.

There is a large split system in the rear family area servicing this area and two rear bedrooms.

Lauristina has a rustic fully equipped kitchen with double ovens, an old-style stainless-steel bench and large fridge.

For coffee lovers there is a De'Longhi pod coffee machine for usage which is compatible with most pods.

Tea and coffee sachets are supplied alongside toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap) are provided.

A dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster are supplied.

The dishwasher is set on ECO mode. This means the dishwasher runs on an ecofriendly cycle. Please wash and put away your dishes prior to check out.

It is best to run the dishwasher the evening before you checkout or earlier the morning the day of check out in order to allow for the ECO cycle to be completed.

We provide sufficient space for three (3) Guest House vehicles to part in the off-street car park and one Spa Cottage guest’s car. If you have more than three vehicles, please park the remaining vehicle on the free on-street parking on Main Road.

Please do not park directly in front of the Spa Cottage.
